Curry is a popular spice all over the world. It’s believed to have many health benefits for us humans, but what about dogs? Is curry good for dogs as well? Can dogs even eat curry?
The answer would be no, it’s not recommended to give your dog curry. According to Manchester Evening News, one 11-year-old dog ate food leftovers with curry, and it gave him tummy problems.
The ASPCA also does not recommend to give spices or spicy food to a dog (this includes curry). The problem is that dogs have a delicate constitution, which is not suited for hot spices. If a dog would eat curry or other spices, it would most likely upset her stomach.
To sum it up, the answer to the question whether dogs can eat curry or not is definitely “no”, in fact it’s not recommend to give your dog any spices at all.
